How to change autosave or auto-recovery default time in Excel?

Microsoft Excel default saves behavior to autosave the workbook is every 10 minutes. If accidentally your file got crashes then you might lose your important work done during that period. So it is highly recommended to change this setting immediately to every one minute if you don’t save your file to Microsoft OneDrive.

Change Autosave Setting (Excel for Windows)

  1. Go to File
  1. Click On Options
  1. Excel Option window will pop-up and from there select save option

Final thoughts, I would recommend saving files on OneDrive, and below are my 5 reason

  1. Documents are more secure
  2. Collaborate with other users
  3. Documents are saved on every single change you do.
  4. Didn’t like the new changes to the file you can recover it with version change.
  5. File corrupted, no worries go the last file version receover it.
