Get Access to Your File
Enter your name and email to receive access to the file.
This formula in Excel will allow you to extract the username from the email address from a cell.
You can easily copy the formula simply by clicking on the copy box and paste it into your workbook.
=LEFT(A2,FIND("@",A2)-1)
How does it work?
Using the FIND function we will find the positing number of “@” from a cell.
=FIND("@",A2)
Now we need to subtract one [-1] to get the position number before “@”
=FIND("@",A2)-1
After this thing are very easy, we will use the LEFT function to extract username
=LEFT(A2,FIND("@",A2)-1)
